Through the last session the Battalion has been hard at work raising money for the Battalion Appeal. The Overgate Hospice was nominated as the 2011 - 2012 Battalion Appeal.
The 5th Halifax (Elland) Boys Brigade took 11 boys and 4 staff along to the Queens Diamond Jubilee Procession on Tuesday 5th June.
71 members of the Halifax Boys’ Brigade were steaming ahead at the Kirklees Light Railway on Saturday 28th April.
Members of the 5th Halifax BB are attending the Queens Jubilee Celebration Event on 5th June 2012 and members of the 12th Halifax BB will be taking part in the 2012 Trooping of the Colour Event on Saturday 16th June 2012.
3 Officers from Halifax BB ran the Manchester 10K on Sunday 20th May to raise money for the Battalion Appeal - The Overgate Hospice!!!
The Total has now increased to £2246.50!!!
Halifax BB is holding its version of the BB Olympics!

The Halifax Boys' Brigade are pleased to announce that the Calder valley Search and Rescue Team have been chosen as their charity for the next session.
The Queens Diamond Jubilee Baton passed through Halifax on Saturday 1st September at 12:30. 3 members of the 5th Halifax BB accepted the baton along with the Mayor of Calderdale at Carlton URC.
The Boys' Brigade has been celebrating Student Volunteer week by thanking it's own Student Volunteers who help each week giving up more of their own time!

On Wednesday 13th February the CVSR Team visitied the Boothtown Boys' Brigade. They showed off their equipment to the Anchors and Juniors and then showed the Lads one of their Landrovers.
